Claire and Mike are firmly committed to low impact viticulture and are accredited members of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand (SWNZ).
From the very first plantings in 1994, they have worked to make the soil and vines as healthly as possible. They have focussed on using natural resources and practices such as composting and recycling.
They are continuing to pursue an organic approach to try to work in harmony with the land they work and give something back to the environment that provides such great grapes for them to work with.
